"team building"
okayokayokay sO! Big Picture went to the UVM Ropes Course which was all good and fun and reminded me how much I hate being stuck on the ground. Jamie was one of our leaders, and when he said I looked familiar I told him that I was part of the group that rode his bike, and proceeded to sing The Ants Go Marching the entire walk back. He remembered that.
Also, I got my first grade! It's a C, but mostly because I put that 5x9= 47, and that 6x6=18. Maybe also because instead of actually reducing my fractions I just wrote "I don't feel like reducing these fractions, so go ahead and take points off.". I find it all hysterical and am perfectly happy with the result I got from how much effort I put in.
Friday, SBHS had a late start, which resulted in a few of us BP kids hanging out in a room for like, 2 hours. Not even joking. Emersyn helped me with my math homework, which was nice, and also I lay on the floor and talked about my problems. (You all know how much I love lying on the floor and complaining!) Then, I remembered that I had an Anomia deck in my bucket, so I pulled that out and we played. I'm actually really proud that I initiated an activity, which probably sounds stupid to those of you who know me as the one that's almost always initiating an activity. Anomia with high schoolers was a little different than it was at The Coop, meaning wAY more swearing. I think there was actually more swearing than actual words. It was quite enjoyable, although verY LOUD. Somehow, quite a few of my classmates can name a serial killer off the top of their heads, but when given "Dentist Tool" yell "Hammer!"
I heard that you guys are holding an election to elect The Coop mascot, and let me just say, I am going to have to come in there and yell at you all if Louis doesn't win! I think the competition BEARly has a chance.
I just shared the quote list with a bunch of you. Don't abuse it!
